Business Development Manager
Runnr is India's fastest growing hyper-local delivery service and aspires to provide every merchant in India the capability to deliver orders rapidly and on-demand to customers in their locality by connecting them with supply force using mobile technology. The company caters to merchants, restaurants and ecommerce companies, managing their deliveries in a cost effective manner while adhering to service level agreements.
What's my role and accomplishments?
-- Developed demand in different zones of Hyderabad to ensure growth. Reached 1000 orders a day in Hyderabad during the month of March 2016.
--Outperformed the localities launched and made operational the same to ensure the overall growth of the city. Reached the place where competition didn't dare to reach.
-- Successfully managed 2 layered sales team to hit the target week on week and month on month basis.
-- Conducting daily sales meeting and collecting DSR reports from the subordinates. Mentored on new initiatives such as marketing and new updates of the app to merchants.
-- Weekly target planning, performance tracking and reviews of executives and AM.
--Handled key accounts such as McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Heritage Fresh, Pizza Hut (Devyani and Dodsal), maintained good relations to ensure service improvements and resolution of the issues on time.
-- Micro management of the local merchants and taking projections so that to sync up with supply team to ensure proper deployment of runners in the locality.
-- Identified product improvements or new products by researching current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
-- Launched E-commerce (Snapdeal & Zopper) last mile delivery operations in Hyderabad. Established physical hubs and hired personals for the positions like Hub managers, System operators, MIS executives and dispatchers. Imparted training on the process and ensured smooth day to day operations.
