As a Recruitment Consultant, my client was Eurosearch and Selection and I was responsible for the recruitment of Eurosearch’s clients i.e., Telecom and IT companies across the globe and business development for getting new clients for Eurosearch. My key responsibilities, being a senior most member in the team, included:
·Managing over all team and resourcing function in the absence of Resource Manager.
·Cold calling to different telecoms & IT companies for generating new business/clients.
·Sending company’s profile to the companies showing interest.
·Chasing company’s feedback after sending the profile.
·Oversee drafting of job descriptions and identifying core competencies required for the positions required by the Clients
·Sourcing candidates through various internet job-boards.
·Sourcing candidates through searching company’s extensive database of candidates using remote-desktop connection technology.
·Searching candidates on LinkedIn.
·Using personal references to source good candidates and sometimes contacting the references mentioned in the CVs for offering them the position for any relevant requirements.
·Posting adverts of the vacancies on different job boards and advert-response management.
·Screening and matching candidates to the job specification.
·Advising job applicants of the success or failure of their application.
·Worked on Kelly Vendor Management System for Motorola South Africa.
·Arranging technical interview of candidates with end client.
·Dealing with any call and queries from the candidates.
·Preparing monthly/weekly vacancy listings and reports.
·Preparing contract templates for selected candidates.
·Solving queries of the selected candidates.
·Direct contact with senior and influential staff of the company by telephone and email.
·Making strong relationships with clients to retain them and providing quality recruitment service to enhance the client’s and company’s business.
