Front Office

Rijksmuseum Amsterdam

The main focus of the Front Office team at the Rijksmuseum is keeping the guests happy. Whatever they need, we try to make it happen. In addition, we have to make sure that daily affairs in the museum run smoothly. The daily chaos and bustle ensures a strong team that communicates well. Working at the Rijksmuseum was a great learning experience.

Refugee Project " Vluchtflat"

Amsterdam University College

In June 2013, I did a project with over a hundred refugees who were at the time squatting a place they called the "Vluchtflat". We did both field and academic research. We went to the "Vluchtflat" several times to observe the refugees' live conditions and to interview them about their lives, their pasts and their views of the future. The information that we gathered from both field and academic research we applied to our own research.
