Final year project

Distributed Flight Array System:  Multiple single rotor drones capable of stable flight, dock in different configurations autonomously and fly together as a single unit; A project inspired by a researcher at ETC Zurich. The project has been modified for practical applications.

Course Projects:

1. An autonomous robot with a mechanical arm that can transport objects.

2. An autonomous maze tracking robot using IR and color sensors.

3. Speed calculating meter using light and a microcontroller.

4. Electronic door lock using combinational logic.

5. Wireless Infrared alarm using IR sensors.

6. Made a complicated model of a simple as possible computer/calculator that could
    add and subtract two numbers in binary form. 


  • Golf: a single handicapper. Played in multiple tournaments on National level.
  • Python: a decent programmer, can make games on python.
  • RC planes: a hobbyist. Made multiple fixed and rotary RC drones.
  • PCB designing: can make complex circuits efficiently in Proteus.
  • Other: MATLAB, C++,  experience in academic and technical report writing.

Documentation team head of IDBFC team, 2016, GIKI. The team competed against the best universities and was ranked 38th world wide, beating UCLA Berkeley and MIT.

  1. Played Golf at national level. Ranked 7th all  over Pakistan, in the Juniors category, 2013. Moreover, won more than 20 tournaments including two Sindh Golf Association (SGA) open cups and Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) open golf championship (Juniors) 2013.

  1. Conducted a couple of workshops on robotics in collaboration with IEEE GIKI chapter.
