CHIN YEE VOON

UTAR is a private university and is ranked among the top 300 universities in Asia by QS University Ranking 2012, 2013 and 2015 and is ranked 64th in the QS Asian University Rankings by 'Employer Reputation' in 2012. I have learn a lot of professional skills from our courses and also some others soft
skills such as leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, ethics and integrity, lifelong, EQ and so forth. I have learn to be confidence and professional through this school.

SMK Lopeng Tengah is a middle school which I think is a great school for us to studies. Unlike my past middle school, SMK Lopeng Tengah's students are being teach to be only obey. Due to the school is located at a small Malay village, students are being spoon feeding and protected much more than SMK Chung Hua. Through the experience we have learn from SMK Chung Hua, we are bringing a lot of changes toward our pre-university school level by communicate with teachers and headmaster. For example, organize event, convocation, handling school club by fully participated by students without spoon feeding by our teachers.This have make our headmaster, Mr. Marcus Raja feel impressed with us. Through the experience in this school, I really learn a lot on handling problem, tolerate with others, and also being humble and appreciated with all the resources we have.

SMK Chung Hua Miri is one of the model school once before. We are not only top in academic performance, but also co-curricular activities such as food fair, school concert, and so forth.
These event are fully participated and organised by students with advice of school teachers. I have also join prefectorial board to become one of the prefect of Counselling department.From this school, we are learn to be independent on doing our tasks and also working in a team to heading to success.

While waiting for IPTA and IPTS result, I have been work at the restaurant as a waiter which only required to take order of customers. Through this working experience, I have also learn to understand the needs of customers and the way to communicate with different types of people with different background. Besides, I also learned some leadership skills from my boss on how to deal with suppliers and working team.

I am just a fresh graduate student of secondary school. While waiting continue for my Form 6 study, I have been work at Versino (cloths retailing) under Lea C&C Bhd as a cashier for a short period. Through that working experience, I have learned to deal with different types of customers with patient. Besides, due to some other reason, I have also get involve in stock checking. Thus, I have also learned record keeping and stock arranging.
