In this contracted position at Hoag Hospital, I upgraded win 98 computers to win 2000 and moved the data file to the network, I also migrated Exchange mail account, users Data, Password users account SID History to Active Directory from Novell NDS and moved network printers from Novell to win 2000 Domain. Copy Users local profile from Novell to win 2000 Domain, confirm network configuration (DAS, WINS, DNS Search Suffix) Removed Novell Netware Clients.

As Network and Software Technician II, I was responsible for building, installing, configuring and maintaining servers including Windows NT/2000, DHCP and TCP/IP. I also upgraded and configured servers and workstations by Dell, Compaq and HP. I installed and set up

D Link/Linksys EtherFast 10/1000 HUB, Fiber connections and DSL. As part of my responsibilities, I connected users to Exchange 5.5 via 5.5 Outlook/Outlook Express and configured all new users for network access, Internet, and Lotus notes e-mail. I diagnosed and corrected all hardware and software issues including Windows XP, 2000,Windows 2000 Professional, ME, 98, and Kronos, Also, I installed software and drivers on Desktops and Notebooks including the latest BIOS revisions. As part of a team, I worked with engineers in testing, evaluating and resolving issues as they presented. I configured MS Outlook for LAN and remote users. Used Remedy software to track and solve problem tickets.
