I am a skilled programmer with passion for teaching and training others. I have had substantial experience in both teaching and programming. I have had a solid education and I would be a great asset to any company needing extra programming, computer training, or design work. I am especially valuable during the summer months when school is out. You need me on your team.

Obtain summer, and part-time employment helping local companies with their programming, web development, and design needs.

Outside of Teaching and Programming I have many interests and people that help make me who I am.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Everything good that has ever come to me I owe to the truths I have learned from my participation and service in the Lord's church. Before going to college, I served for 2 years teaching the gospel of this church to many people in Seattle Washington.

I have been happily married for 9 years to a smart and beautiful woman. I am the father of 5 wonderful children, 1 girl and 4 boys. They are the most important treasures I have, they are my motivation. I base all my decisions around my family. I try to keep a healthy balance between work and family.

I love to stay active, I play basketball regularly, and I am an avid Jazz fan. In addition to teaching at Pine View High School I am actively involved as an adviser to the Ping Pong, Ultimate Frisbee, and Chess club. I also love singing, I have had many awesome informal trainers and I am not afraid to sing in front of an audience.

Web Master

Salt Lake County Fire Department (Unified Fire Authority)

Re-designed and maintained, and updated the fire department web page using Adobe Go-Live. It was a great learning experience for me as I matured as a programmer and began my study of web programming. The site that I designed has been replace in the last few years. The fire-department is an exciting place to work.

1999 - 2003

State of Utah - Division of Finance

During my early college years I was able to create many computer based training (CBT) courses used to teaching state employees the state's custom financial software. I built the CBT's using an authoring tool I learned in High School called Quest (similar to ToolBook). Quest has since been overpowered by programs like Flash and Director, but it was a great tool for creating interactive training courses. The state still uses some of my lessons internally in that department. I used Photoshop and Illustrator for much of the images and design.

Programming, Web Development
