Selected as a paid intern to be exposed to each segment of his business operations to understand the importance of excellence in business and life.Responsibilities were as follows:
�Served as a Food Preparation Assistant responsible for the washing, cutting and preparation of all ingredients before they are handed to the Sous Chef. Prepped ingredients to specific requirements. Assigned reading of chapters of Lessons in Excellence to provide an analysis and Q&A of each chapter with Chef Trotter.
�Held the position as a guest liaison that provided a segue until the Maitre D was ready to seat the guest.Assigned to administration providing support to the accounting, payroll, food and wine ordering and reservations.
�Assigned to the retail division. Trotter’s To Go prepares upscale specialty foods. Served as a Food Prep Assistant.
�Served as a Retail Clerk stocking the shelves of food items. Assisted customers in their location of food items.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community.The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 650 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 678,000 adults and children in Cook County everywhere.
