Community Service

Volunteer Member for the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ

I was a volunteer member for certain projects while I attended Ancilla College through the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ (PHJC). PHJC is a nunnery that is located on the Ancilla College campus, and started the school itself.

Projects I Have Done:

  • Tornado Relief Trip to Southern Indiana
  • Sojourner Truth Project
    • Ancilla faculty, staff, and students volunteered their services for a day at the Sojourner Truth House in Gary, Indiana. It included things such as emptying food trucks, matching gloves and hats from a large donation, creating folders for volunteers, and filing papers.
