My name is Zac Brown. I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where I earned my Bachelors in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration.

I am a hard-working, organized person, who has a strong enthusiasm for learning and building on personal skills. While in school, I acquired a strong understanding of strategic planning and communication and have found that public relations is a perfect industry to suit my writing and strategic thinking skills.

I am extremely passionate about sports. I enjoy playing recreational basketball and flag football and attending sporting events. I enjoy being in the outdoors, whether it is camping, hiking or water sports. I also enjoy cooking and exploring the culture of wine.

Research daily local, regional, and national publications for daily media mentions pertaining to the University of Oregon. Media mentions are compiled into a single document and sent out to UO faculty and staff.

Prepared a pertinent fact sheet about the University of Auburn for the President of the University of Oregon to prepare for interviews pertaining to the BCS National Championship.

Write and edit various press releases and articles to be featured on the University of Oregon website.

Compile media distribution lists.

Assist in the development of the June 2011 Media Clip Book for the Board of Trustees.
