For the last 10+ years I have been turning dreams into ideas, and ideas into reality.  I am a self made entrepreneur and co-founder of all companies detailed in the work experience section of this resume. I am ambitious and patient, a dreamer and a pragmatist, I'm artistic and organized.  I am a good boss and a great self starter, but I work best as a member of a team united by a common purpose.  I have a gold record on my wall, I have toured the country performing to crowds of 20,000.  My restaurant debuted on national primetime television, winning our brick and mortar location after one season of vending at summer events.  Simply put, I make things happen. These endeavors have enjoyed varying levels of success, and through the trial and error of the process, I have developed a cache of unique and marketable real-world skills.  I am a creative person, a people person, and a problem solver. I am also a highly effective networker and communicator.  



My wife recently asked me what my dream really is, and when I boiled it down to it's essential elements, I realized that these five criteria are all I need.  I want to:

1.  Work in a fun location and environment

2.  Work with people who have an ethical backbone regardless of personal politics

3.  Utilize my unique skills set as a creative person and people person

4.  Promote a service or product that I can believe in

5.  Be fairly compensated, commensurate with my experience and skills

Pimento Jamaican Kitchen

Winners of Food Network's reality show Food Court Wars, Pimento Jamaican Kitchen is a fast casual restaurant and caterer offering authentic Jamaican street food using family recipes, chef-inspired techniques & fresh local ingredients. As CCO, I create and coordinate all aspects brand development, marketing and promotions.  As GM, I run the day to day needs of the restaurant; staff, scheduling, inventory, payroll, bills, etc.  My strong written and verbal communication skills landed us the chance to compete on Food Network out of hundreds of applicants.

Verge Industries was a multimedia company focused on original content creation for online and print marketing campaigns including video, original music, branding and graphic design.  I was responsible for all aspects of project management from sales to concept to execution of deliverables.

Medida Productions was a live music event production and promotion company.  As sole proprietor, my responsibilites included; booking acts, hiring sound and light techs, securing venues, design and distribution of promotional materials, and more.  Some of our more notable events were:

Assistant Tour Manager and Street Team Coordinator (Matisyahu)

2007 Unity Tour w/ 311 and Matisyahu

Unity Tour is an annual summer event put on by rock band 311 at arenas and amphitheaters across the US to crowds of 10,000 - 20,000 concert goers.  I was responsible for coordinating street team volunteers for the co-headlining act, Matisyahu. I was also assistant to the tour manager and production manager and had the pleasure of sitting in with Matisyahu and his band every night on stage.

Guerilla Promotions

Guerilla Promotions focused on sales and physical distribution of printed promotional materials for artists.  GP distributed over 1,000,000 flyers in the first year.  I was responsible for sales and distribution which also included securing accounts with print houses and developing the distribution routes.
