  • The BIG deal (Service, upgrade and new technologies) - Spearheaded a 4-year deal worth AUD 11.5 M for 7 countries. Traditional support services plus –
    • A funded evaluation for core-banking upgrade for all countries.
    • Licenses and rollout of Infosys Analytics platform, Youth banking, SME digital banking and enterprise remote monitoring services for all countries.
  • Diversification and Growth (Penetrate into new areas of business) 
    • Data Analytics – One of first customer adoption of a new offering (Hadoop/ Tableau and Infosys IIP) for a client in Taiwan.
    • Automation (AssistEdge- EdgeVerve) – Pioneered self-funding model to get enterprise automation in robotics process automation (RPA).
    • SME Digital Banking solution packaged enabling a case of replacement of in-progress rollout for a client in Philippines.
    • Predictive Monitoring (using AI) services on “Finacle Assure” for multi-country operation in APAC. Another first in the region.
  • Infrastructure upgrade in Laos –Actively sourced, consulted and delivered the infra upgrade and tech refresh for Laos operations of client with healthy margins.

Client Engagement Manager (APAC)

As Engagement Manager tasked to grow the Asia business of ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) group in the APEA region. Grew the portfolio of ANZ Banks across Asia by over 200% from AUD 8 M to AUD 25 M working with client leadership, architects and business including on premise and hosted solutions. Ensured customer success and met organization targets through long term relationships.

Consulting and Sales –

  • The BIG deal (Core Banking rollout) - Shaped the core banking rollout deal for 7 countries in APEA with a model including software, services and system integration worth AUD 37 M.
  • Directed and coached program Managers on customer handling, estimations and negotiation with stakeholders. Right solution to right people and managing changes generated additional AUD 2M /annum.
  • Consulting Services - spanning Organization change management, Enterprise Integration and partner solution worth AUD 8M over 2 years.
  • Core Banking on cloud - Helped pioneer the cloud model for banking in Australia credit union space. Guided the setup of cloud infrastructure to enable the rollout. 

Delivery and Customer Success –

  • Delivered Core banking – migration along with 26 partner systems, program governance with stakeholders from in-country business, group systems, multiple delivery and various technology teams.
  • Activating the ODC - Set-up of dedicated ODC in India that fuelled expansion to multiple business lines across geos of Australia and Asia. Leveraged DCs in India, China and PH to reduce cost and increase agility to win business.
  • Got best out of organizations by cost-effective offshore-onsite strategies, reward/penalty mechanism, Enterprise licensing and driving a positive behavior to ensure delivery/cost certainty.

Successfully negotiated and delivered multiple services and product deals and doubled the client portfolio over 2-year period. Trusted partner and go to person for bank executives to seek advice, share issues and get suggestions to arrive at mutually beneficial solutions.

 Consulting and Sales –

  • The BIG deal (Support, enhancement, operation for 11 countries, 5 years, SG 33 M) - Business case prep, stakeholder alignment, pre-sales, sales and setup. Brought together diverse LoB such as BPO, operations, consulting and product services to combine into a winning proposal.
  • Multi-country CXO alignment - Negotiated core-banking replacement deal for 11 countries with healthy margins. Coordinated alignment of country heads, technology and business to achieve synergy on solutions, cost and timelines.
  • Commercial Management - Successful closure of complex Master services agreements, Licensing and service contracts, statement of works with business, technology, legal and partner teams.

Delivery and customer success –

  • Core roll-out (largest Bank in SG) - Program managed the roll-out of core banking (Finacle)- 11 countries, 2 years, including SG, HK, CN, IN, ID, UK, US, TW, KR, JP.
  • Setting up of captive ODC – Led the setup and operations of 100 seat ODC resulting in savings of SGD 15 M/annum.
