Seasoned professional with 27 years of experience in education, training, R&D, government, and management. I have a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to operational challenges, leading cross-functional teams, and transforming strategic plans into tactical initiatives.
In academia, I have worked in a university and international research institutions for 17 years, developing and delivering training programs for students and professionals in materials sciences, tribology, and scientific project development and management. I have also conducted research in these areas and published my findings in peer-reviewed journals.
In government, I have worked as a mid-level and high-level manager for 10 years, leading regional and strategic planning, policy planning, regulation, and project and program management. I have led cross-functional teams to develop and implement successful projects. I have also successfully transformed strategic plans into tactical initiatives, resulting in measurable improvements in performance.
As an expert evaluator/monitor for various EU programs, I have evaluated many projects including FP7, H2020, and Horizon Europe (for REA, HaDEA, EIT, etc.) and provided feedback that has helped to improve the quality of these programs. I am a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a passion for making a difference.

Project: Modernization of the Vocational and Technical Teacher Training Project in Turkey

Responsibilities:
Coordinated the development and implementation of new standards and curricula for vocational and technical teacher training in Turkey.
Provided technical inputs and facilitated many events to ensure that the modular curriculum was developed to reach for lifelong learning (LLL) and professional development using the DACUM process and linking it to occupational standards (EQF) and ILO classifications.
Developed and implemented a quality assurance framework for VET teacher training and counseling.
Built partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and universities.

The project successfully developed and implemented new standards and curricula for vocational and technical teacher training in Turkey.

Responsibilities:
Operated a non-contact atomic force microscope and scanning Kelvin probe microscopes under ultra-high vacuum (JEOL).
Obtained atomic resolution images of Si (111) surfaces.
Investigated the electronic characteristics of silicon.

Projects:
1. Lubrication of Ceramic Materials with Water;
Tested the tribo-characteristics of SiC and Si3N4 ceramic materials run mutually with Ball-on-disk system.
Observed and recorded zero friction coefficient when the water was used in the contact area.
Published research paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
2. Improvement of Hard Disk Surface of Computer;
Worked in a clean room (Class 100).
Covered the surface of the hard disk with a 1 nm thick lubricant film.
Tested the durability of the lubricant film in a conditioned environment.
Searched and revealed the possibilities of decreasing the distance of magnetic disk reading and writing and production of high capacity hard disks.
