Role & Responsibilities
Handling cash receipts, payments balancing.
Handling non-cash transactions like RTGS, NEFT, DD, Fixed Deposits, and ECS etc.
Ensured Payments were made to authorized persons by verifying their names, details and signatures properly.
Used counting machines and other equipment to maintain an accurate record of currencies deposited and shipped to other bank branches.
Updating cash position and instruments issued.
Processing account opening, stop payment and standing order.
Issuing cheque books and debit cards.
Processing outward clearing cheques and informing customers about dishonoured cheques.
Handling import & export documents, outward remittances, letter of credit(L/C) and payment of import bills under letter of credit.
Co-ordination with officers at CPC(Central Processing Centre) to get the queries resolved pertaining to import/export bills, Import LC, Inward remittance/Outward remittance etc.
Interacting with customers to resolve discrepancies related to L/C, import & export documents.
Issuing BRC(Bank Realization Certificate) to customers on the basis of their export bills.
Disbursing pre-shipment finance(Packing credit).
Preparation of credit document as per sanction terms.
Credit Proposals (Working Capital, Car Loan, Housing Loan etc.)
Facilitating queries pertaining to account balances, clearing cheques etc.
