Key executive in setting and executing the financial and business strategy for 15 countries with an annual sales exceeding Swiss Franc 700 million while ensuring strong sustainable growth and success. I was responsible into providing an expert guidance and support to area management to maximize business performance via risk management and creating an effective financial and business control environment • Sales Growth: key player to grow area's sales +10% annually while maintaining cost at minimum growth. • Business Partnering: ­ Strategically managed various key projects from developing stage study to execution. ­ Worked closely with General Manager to revise, negotiate and finalize distributors’ agreements. • Strategy Setting and execution: Work with different management stakeholders to create a strategic vision to face competition and grow sales. • Special Projects: Managed several projects which included setting up new entities in several countries in the region to improve controls and compliance. Increase cash flow by 18% by appointing collection team force. Established finance, procurement and logistics departments in the region consisting of 14 professionals. • Internal Control: Strengthened and improved area of controls by creating unified processes to standardize the region policies and procedures (Purchasing/Payable, Expiries, Bonus, Travel and Car Policy, etc.). Developed simple innovated solutions to increase business controls. • Budget Creation & reporting: ­ Worked with area managers to develop a lean budget. I challenged to achieve optimum figures. ­ Successfully presented budget reviews in front of corporate management at headquarter. • Receivable and Collection: Created new credit management process which reduced accounts receivable days sales outstanding (DSO) by over 10 days. For one market, my team managed to reduce A/R by Swiss Franc 16 million or -9% even though sales grew by 13% over the previous year.

Finance Manager/Financial Controller

FINANCE MANAGER - MENA 2008 to 2009 FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - GNE 2001 to 2008 As MENA Finance Manager I was the main contact to area financial activities and functions (consists of 21 countries and sales over £800m). Established guidelines for area strategy & objectives. As Gulf & Near East Finance Controller, I was in-charge of 10 countries financial activities (Sales in excess £100 million). While managing a staff of eight, the responsibilities varied from ensuring that the finance department operated at the highest professional levels to support higher management in their strategic decision making. Career Highlight  Business Partnering: Worked closely with country managers to achieve their countries’ sales targets. Improved GNE market accounting system by maximizing the system’s capabilities, efficiency, and reports. Overhauled accounting functions which calls for managers’ empowerment with focus on back end monitoring.  Budget & Accounting System Development: Created a new budgeting system with focus on market sales cycle and inventory management. Unified data definitions to correlate expense outlooks with sales data. Ensure compliance within MENA Markets. Through training and awareness campaigns, developed standardized working methods in the area.  System Development: Created a monitoring system to analyze products’ gross margins which improved product profitability by 2% and reduced inventory level by 10% (increased bottom line by over £1.5million). Developed control systems to monitor promotion expenses, free of charge, expiries and sample goods. In 2006, expenses spending reduced by 17% while sales increased by 12%. While gross sale in 2007 increased by 13% versus 2006, the overdue decreased by 30%.  Special Projects: Managed “Working Capital” project which reduced trade receivables by £45m and trade payables by £4m. Improved North Africa market accounting system. In 2007, I led a human resources project to re-structure staff salaries.
