Cost & Budgeting - Accounting Manager
A - Cost:
1 – Calculate & analyze actual manufacturing costs, compare standard costs to actual and prepare periodic reports on variances & evaluate the reasons of variances.
2 – Prepare labor & overhead calculations.
3 – Prepare the periodic reports of cost, margin, productivity, stock position, …
4 – Prepare the periodic waste reports by material & by products.
5 - Update standard costs in the bill of materials on the basis of current & replacement prices.
6 – Control the landed cost of the purchased raw material, goods & spare parts.
7 – Apply overhead costs as required by management.
8 – Conduct monthly physical stock count for the material in the plant & treat the discrepancies.
9 – Lead annual physical inventory & prepare the related variances reports.
10 – Control the Marketing trade offers .
11 – Other cost issues.
B - Budget:
1 – Assist the department managers monitoring the different expenses related to their BU.
2 – Collect & compile budgets received from BUs.
3 – Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual reports and analysis (operating expenses, cash flow, profit & loss, capital expenditure, sales forecast).
4 - Prepare and analyze monthly variances reports (budget v/s actual).
5 – Pre-set feasibility studies for new projects.
