Technical Investigator

  • Conducts and/or assist with complex investigations concerning violations of university policies and/or other allegations of misconduct directed against the university and/or its people.  These investigations may include, but are not limited to allegations of; Missing Property; harassment; theft property ; misuse of access; Motor Vehicle Accident; Vandalism; fight; complaint; suspicious activity; other issues as deemed appropriate for investigation by KAUST Security management. 
  • Conducts interviews of employees, contract workers or others who may be witnesses to the incidents and/or have knowledge of violations of KAUST policies.
  • May conducts interviews of those who are accused of having violated the university’s policies. 
  • Collects evidence and maintains the appropriate records reflecting an adequate chain of custody to ensure the integrity of the evidence. 
  • May prepare investigative reports, written work product, communications and/or other legal documents associated with investigations.

  • Acting Assistant Shift Supervisor, handling all job responsibilities of the position for many times.
  • Advises the Shift Supervisor, and is responsible for ensuring security needs and performances of physical gates, equipment, manpower, and training.
  • Oversees, instructs and coordinates the activities of Security Attendants.
  • Establishes and coordinates work schedules and gate coverage.
  • Makes necessary changes to schedules in the event of unexpected absences.
