I am a Senior Information Technology Professional successful in identifying organizational needs and leading the development and implementation of both proven and emerging technologies to improve productivity, quality and operating performance. The scope of my experience has included the entire development and project management lifecycle, from initial needs assessment and technology evaluations through vendor selection, internal development, pilot testing, quality review, technical and user documentation and training, and full scale implementation. Most notable are my strengths in facilitating cooperation among cross-functional project teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and as specified. As part of Corporate Management, I believe in strategically aligning IT resources alongside those of the corporation and implementing practical technologies that preserve and build revenue and earnings. Recently, I’ve been a Director of Reporting at LifeMasters and Senior Director of Application Development with Gartner Dataquest. I specified project hardware and software frameworks and developed business cases for all proposed technology solutions, prepared and delivered system presentations to senior management, and then executed on approved initiatives, managing a portfolio of technology projects. As a Project Management Consultant, I’ve had the opportunity to assist corporations in the implementation of Enterprise Project Management within their organizations, where success is far more involved than just installing software; it’s about developing “best practices” in the process of project management and making sure those processes are aligned with the software.
