I make no secret of the fact that I am a film-maker. This does not mean that I divide my focus between my activities related to that part of my life, and work that I am hired for. As an employer you may rest assured that whatever tasks I am assigned they well be done on time, at or under budget, and at a level of quality that reflects my ability to attend to the details.

I am interested in things that heighten my attention: A great film, a great work of literature, or being out on a warm day riding my bike are all such things. Anything that compels me to bring out my camera to grab a photo will work as well, and finally I am interested in things that mystify me and resist explanation. For instance I've been asked, "Do you believe in creatures from other worlds?" My answer:  "No I do not, but I'm willing to be open to the possibiltiy." I believe that personal experience is the measure of what is true and what might be true, and as one might imagine, this keeps me interested in many things.

A highly creative, dedicated, knowledgable worker with proven skills in many cross-over areas of media development. A persuasive communicator demonstrating excellent verbal and wrritten skills. A self motivated team player. Strong software learning curve. A curious nature and an inventive mind.

Some of my recent projects are linked here Experimental Media Projects. They accurately reflect my interest in expanding the typical limitations of software and media.

As in any job search my objective is to find that position that not only best suits my skills, but also one in which I feel most comfortable. I want to become part of a professional team that cares deeply about results while working in a relaxed environment.

I am perhaps not the usual candidate: I am a recent college graduate, however I have more than ten years of combined experience in web development, graphic design, project management, as well as in video production and editing. Over the last seven years I've been attending school, and for the most part, working full time. I received my Bachelor of Science in Film and Media in 2007 (honors), and my Masters in Media Arts in 2010 (GPA 3.96).

Throughout my time in school I continued  to deliver on time, high quality, and under budget projects in my work life.

Masters in Media Arts

When I finished my BS degree I was offered an opportunity to continue on with my Masters without a break. Having the previous experience of a very long delay in continuing my education I chose what to me was the obvious path. I received my master's in May of 2010

Jan 2002 - May 2007

After a long haitus between high school and college, and with the events of  911 dramatically impacting my life, I made the decision, applied and was accepted at The New School in 2002. In spite of receiving a now infamous "D" in Italian I managed to graduate with honors. As it happened I was forced to admit that there are some areas in which I display no skills at all. On the other hand it was also that same experience that caused me to realize, that if I do not posess a particular skill, it is necessary for me to find someone to work with, who does. I know now that I much I prefer to work in team environments that allow each member to do what they do best.
