Head of Client Private Group
In order to better portray the focus of the firm, we have changed our name to Alternative Investments Group, LLC. I founded this diverse practice in 2003, recommending a myriad of non-correlated, alternative investments to high net worth individuals and families. Part of that experience involved learning the tax advantages of insurance based products as well as the different premium finance options available. Recently, I began marketing a non-qualified, premium financed, key-man, salary continuation/death benefit only plan to companies with over twenty employees. Additionally, I represent the Kelson Group, a third party marketer based in NYC, whom markets a full stable of hedge funds, private equity and real asset managers to family offices, endowments, and pension funds.
William Massie Meredith, Jr., has spent more than a decade serving as a managing member of Alternative Investments Group, LLC. Outside of his work with the firm, W. Massie Meredith, Jr., enjoys spending time in his log cabin with his two Labrador retrievers. When looking at the temperament of a Labrador retriever, it becomes readily apparent why they are one of the nation’s most popular breeds. Labs are frequently referred to as family dogs and are noted for being loyal, loving, affectionate, and highly patient. Unlike many intelligent breeds, the lab’s desire to please its owner makes it one of the most easily trained dogs, and its socialization levels allow the lab to get along with children, as well as other dogs. While labs are good-natured and playful, particularly when it comes time to swim, they do desire a structured environment based on a foundation of human leadership. Owners who fail to fulfill these obligations, or do not provide the lab with the required exercise, may find themselves with a disappointed, disloyal pet.
