Combining an understanding of business and tax regulations with a degree in law, William Daniel Elsom wields nearly 40 years of experience. Early in his career, Elsom worked as a Staff Accountant, preparing financial statements and tax returns for clients. During the same period, he served as a Project Coordinator and a Project Cost Analyst with a Fortune 500 drilling corporation, overseeing client relations and task operations from start to completion. Since then, he has added a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on accounting, obtained a Juris Doctor, and co-founded a private practice. William Daniel Elsom is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has been admitted to practice law in front of the Supreme Court of Texas. He has also resolved issues before the IRS and the United States Tax Court, and he has successfully represented clients before regulation agencies. Currently, Daniel Elsom serves on the Bank of Houston Business Development Board and is a member of the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations. In 25 years of supporting his community, he has functioned as a board member, secretary, and president of various professional business associations. In addition, he lectured on real estate at the Wyoming State Bar Convention in 1996 and on multiple subjects for the Greater Yellowstone Law Institute between 1994 and 1995. Much of Elsom's career in the field of law took place in Cody, Wyoming, after completion of his Juris Doctor. For many years, he worked as a managing partner, and his firm offered guidance in the legal formation or dissolution of entities. He continues to hone his expertise in business, finance, and tax services with Steidley + Elsom, LLC.
