About William D Jones MD OK

Since 1996, William D. Jones, MD, has run a private practice out of Oklahoma City, OK, specializing in occupational and preventive medicine. After spending his undergraduate years at Vanderbilt University, William D. Jones, MD, went on to earn his MD from Brown University in 1992. He spent a year as an intern with the Trinity Lutheran Hospital before completing his obtain his master’s degree in public health from the University of Oklahoma, while fulfilling his residency at the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Family and Preventative medicine.

Dr. Jones experience as an occupational health physician includes tenures at both General Motors Assembly Plant and the Norman Regional Hospital Department of Occupational Medicine. He has been a member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association and the Oklahoma County Medical Society for over 20 years.

Outside of his work in medicine, he enjoys traveling to Europe and South America, and he speaks both French and Spanish. Additionally, he coaches a children’s tee-ball team and plays on two adult slow-pitch softball teams during the spring, summer, and fall.
