Senior leadership team member providing strategic direction of the marketing, communications, branding, digital, public policy, and media relations functions of the Institute. Serves as Institute spokeswoman.
Led an award-winning rebranding of the organization within the first six months at the Institute. Launched a million-dollar website project, meeting and exceeding twelve month engagement goals by 150% in the first six weeks. Manages internal team and external vendors, consulting with internal departments and advising on strategic partnerships and decisions.
Guides Institute strategic initiatives including the development of a new vision and mission statement and a five-year strategic plan. Frequent print and broadcast media contributor, discussing issues related to education policy and education reform.
Served as Director of Marketing until October 2015.
