Achievement Overview

As Director of a start-up venture by NYC-based restaurant group, built value and sustainable relationships for niche, high-end retail and wholesale housewares brand. Coordinated with owners, P/T staff and 20+ vendors to develop, import and sell a high-end, Italian-made artisan line, comprised of 850 SKUs across stoneware, glassware, linens and gift categories. 

Back-of-house Activities: merchandise orders and order processing, warehouse and logistics management, vendor sourcing, QC and product development.

Sales and Marketing Activities:  branding, market positioning, pricing, assortment planning, account development and management, campaigns, special events, sales incentives, media requests, copy writing, collateral production.

Retail Activities: sales and customer service, POS sourcing and set up, client list management, visual merchandising, display, inventory control, in-store promotions, hiring and managing staff, payroll and sales reporting/analysis.

Highlights: Set up and launched Showroom and By-Appointment Shop December 2013 ~ Set up and launched E-comm February 2015 ~ Developed co-branded line in partnership with Waterworks for their Kitchen program, introduced Summer 2014 ~ Ran third party online event with One King's Lane Summer 2014 ~ Personally responsible for generating 150K from launch through end 2014, with 10% increase for 175K in sales the following year.
