Summary

Throughout my academic life, I have been studying teaching methodologies of English as a Foreign Language, Assessment and teaching materials. My final paper at university was about reading activities in textbooks from public schools. I compared textbooks from the same publisher to see how they have improved since the publication of guidelines of PNLD, the program which analyzes and approved the textbooks that can be chosen by the schools, in 2011.

Regarding my professional experiences, I started teaching in 2012 at Hispano America Idiomas, where I could also revise and edit teaching materials. At NLC, I started as a trainee teacher, but nowadays I have a short term contract. I also revise tests made by the trainees giving suggestions to improve according to research done at university.

I faithfully believe improvement come with study and experience. So I always try to get updated about new researches and to do reclycing courses. Nowadays I am finishing the Basic teacher training course at Cultura Inglesa and am seeking to start the Applied Linguistics to the English Teaching at Fafire, which is my area of interest.
