Car Overload

What the products do: Give car enthusiasts a place to connect and discover automotive content structured around their cars of choice. What I do: Set product strategy, UX/UI Design, Front-end development, system administration, investor pitches, business development, blog design and admin.

Company Pitch:

Car Overload is an automotive product network that centralizes automotive content, community, and commerce around the cars and parts of which they relate. Every car and part manufactured has its own online identity that consists of related products, images, videos, reviews, Q&A, owners, and other types of data on the web, but this content is scattered across many different sites. Car Overload consumes this data and builds comprehensive identities for cars and parts that users can connect with in the same way they connect with their friends on Facebook.

I have driven the product vision and requirements for the site and lead the team.  I have designed and implemented the front-end/UI for the site, as well as some of the information architecture.  I run the blog and contribute content as well.

I spec'ed out and built the following features from the ground up

- In house AJAX commenting system

- Interactive activity feed and Dashboard aggregating content from across the entire site based on user preferences.

- Facebook Open Graph Authentication integration with in house registration

- Follow/Favorite users and content

- All front-end features.
