In my role of Creative Director Retail at Hybrid Advertising and Marketing, I supervised a team of copywriters, art directors, designers and web developers in the creation of a wide variety of advertising and marketing campaigns. Completed many projects for a wide range of clients including; Shiels, Grahams, United Discount Chemists, Impact Tools, Northern Domestic Violence Service, City of Playford and Zero Waste SA, Fasta Pasta, Nuway, and Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia.

Managing Partner and Creative Director

Scend
I launched Scend in June of 2008, with the addition of a business partner, larger premises, and re-branding of Stereotype with a new name and logo. The focus of the business broadened to include ongoing strategic communications. Building on the success of Stereotype, Scend was able to add to an impressive list of outstanding creative and communication projects With more clients approaching us for strategic communication management and advice, we were able to help our clients to determine, set and align their communication and marketing objectives with their overarching organisational goals. I delivered tangible, lasting and integrated marketing and communication outcomes for the Northern Sound System, Land Management Corporation, Vet Bioscience, Central Diesel and ANZ Corporate Banking to name a few.

Stereotype
The decision to create a new communication design firm was an idea that I’d had for a number of years. I wanted to build a company that focused on making a positive impact in our community. It’s no easy task establishing a business, building the brand, maintaining a high level of professionalism and still delivering a quality of work that exceeded clients expectations. But this is something that I was able to achieve with Stereotype, growing an impressive client list and a first rate body of work. My roles as Managing and Creative Director were extremely broad, ranging from creative, technical, management, client contact, sales and writing proposals and project briefs. Work included various projects for The City of Playford, The City of Charles Sturt, The City of Salisbury, Northern Domestic Violence Service, Anglicare, Department for Families and Communities, the Department of Health and UniSA.
