  • Responsible for manufacturing plant design engineering issues, supplier transfer qualifications and VEVA (Value Engineering Value Analysis) activities on several airbag programs involving multiple OEMs and platforms.
  • Lead and participate in Cross Functional Teams in problem solving and product launch efforts.
  • Provide design engineering support for programs being launched at facilities in Utah, Mexico and Brazil.

PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
I utilize a PLM system on a daily basis in my current assignment.  This involvement includes the following tasks: Creating Enterprise Change Requests (ECR) Creating Engineering Change Orders (ECO) Managing product bill of materials Creating new parts Creating product drawings Creating engineering documents (i.e. DFMEA, DVP&R, test plans and reports, etc.)
I have experience utilizing the following CAD software packages: SolidWorks Microstation Autocad Inventor
Microsoft Office Software
I utilize a majority of the Microsoft Office software package on a daily basis.  I utilize Excel and PowerPoint are utilized extesnively in my current work assignment.
