Designed wire harnesses for aerospace satellite systems using Pro/E and Pro/E Creo 2.0. Developed 3D models of wire harnesses and 2D drawings. Implemented redline changes/updates. Typical model activities included positioning of models, creating reps (simple and sectional), creating network route, importing wirelists, designating connectors and splices, running wires, creating wire cut lengths, troubleshooting. Typical drawing activities included importing/positioning views, adding reference designators, incorporating redlines. Designed test harness layout for developmental purposes using MS Visio. Designed circuit board schematics using ORCAD Cadence. Checked performed voltage drop analysis. Documented fabrication and assembly inspection results. Documented proposed process improvements. Corrected/updated red lined schematics, drawings and B.O.M.s. Designed multiple harness layouts using Pro Engineer/Cabling Creo/Wildfire 5.0.

Designed/updated electrical aerospace cables and harnesses to NASA, MIL, and GSFC specifications for satellite remote sensing applications. Drawings included mechanical layout, assembly notes, detail drawing inserts, wire list, parts list and bundle diameter calculations. Reviewed and approved drawings for production release. Worked in ITAR controlled secured environment and Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Performed system evaluation of medical devices (blood analyzers) for the replacement of obsolete or discontinued components. Led multi-functional teams to determine testable criteria for the new components. Developed, documented, and executed test plans to verify/validate operation of replacement per government (FDA) guidelines.
