Summary

I have been a xray tech for over 15 years and have always loved the profession. The people I get to interact with have been the most enjoyable part of my carreer.

I have always worked at a hospital that trained students and I find  that to be a very rewarding part of my job.  I learned a great deal from my techs and I remember what it's like to be a student.

I enjoy continuing my education and have done so throughout my career. My focus has been on pathology and CT.

I worked for one year in CT at JBMH before leaving and found it to be a fast paced but highly enjoyable area of Radiology.

I am married with 4 children.  We have just moved back to Burlington after a 2- year transfer to Vancouver and look forward to being home with family and friends.

I  volunteer at my children's schools  on a regular basis as well as with their many sports teams.

Over my 15 year career I have continued to further my education yearly.  I stay current with my CPR and complete all required in hospital seminars (ie: mask fittings etc) . I attend the regular education days that my college provides as well as completeing home studies on a regular basis.

I am registered and active with the OAMRT and CMRTO.

Each year I meet or exceed the hourly requirements from the college and keep detailed records of my goals and studies.
