As Global Account Manager at Meraki Inc., a Google- and Sequoia Capital-backed privately owned wireless networking firm in Northern California, Vivek Kesaree holds responsibility for a variety of critical duties. Mr. Kesaree played a major role in evaluating and recruiting more than 19 strategic partners and conducted onsite reviews and Web-based training sessions to facilitate continued development and effective communications with the company’s channel partners. A vital member of the Meraki Inc. team, Vivek Kesaree directed pre-sales engineers and local inside sales teams and maintained a number of important C-level relationships.
Vivek Kesaree also spearheaded and closed 4 of the firm’s 5 highest revenue-grossing deals and completed a $1.3 million deal with the prominent telecommunications company in Latin America. Frequently meeting and exceeding company quotas, he personally handles an international sales territory that includes high-profile telecommunications companies such as AT&T, Orange, Telmex, and Telefónica, S.A. Moreover, Vivek Kesaree represented Meraki Inc. at several widely attended conferences and tradeshows, including the Distributed Antennas Systems (DAS) Congress, the Macworld Conference and Expo, International CTIA WIRELESS, Dreamforce, COMDEX, and Cloud Connect. Vivek Kesaree earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin, where he double majored in Finance and International Marketing.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Kesaree participated has participated in IBM’s Principles of Consultative Selling and Miller Heiman's Strategic Selling programs. He also holds certification as an IBM product specialist, generalist in photovoltaic and solar design and is proficient with a wide array of cloud computing, wireless, platform as a service (PAAS), and software as a service (SAAS) technologies. Prior to joining Meraki Inc., Vivek Kesaree completed successful tenures at i2 Technologies (acquired by JDA Software Group in 2010), the MEI Wireless Division of Mars, Inc., and Cantaloupe Systems, Inc and IBM.
