Founder & CEO (Chief Executive Optimist)

Viv Arora Consulting

Philadelphia PA & New York NY

I am a business development consultant for startups and small businesses. I believe that relationships with our teams and our clients are our most valuable assets. I help build those relationships by assisting startups with team building, community outreach, event planning and marketing. In my years of experience, I have done the following for my clients:

Organized market surveys to understand target demographic sentiment and used data to launch a new marketing/branding plan which resulted in increased market share and 18% sales growth for two consecutive quarters

Researched markets to identify opportunities for events and produced detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)

Organized small scale test events to understand brand specific logistics; Created structure to launch a fast paced and national level campaign

Gathered key event metrics to analyze success rates to constantly evolve and make events more efficient and cost effective for clients. Regularly surveyed and analyzed feedback from event attendees, using social media, to ensure identified objectives were met

Implemented data warehouse technology in order to aggregate transaction information, merge the information with CRM products, and to provide KPI

Assessed business strategies of clients, including analysis of working capital, process workflows, financial inefficiencies and new business opportunities

Improved retention rates and client satisfaction ratings by starting a recurring client feedback event to better understand and identify problems with online and retail UX
