Summary

An accomplished osteopathic physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Vinson DiSanto presently serves as the Medical Director of Spectrum Services, an occupational wellness center located in Miami, Florida. Stepping into his current post in 2007, Dr. DiSanto utilizes both traditional and integrative treatment methodologies to diagnose and correct a wide range of physiological ailments, focusing his healing techniques on preventative care and overall systemic detoxification. Dr. Vinson DiSanto combines the most beneficial aspects of Western allopathic and Eastern medicine to help his patients achieve optimal health, a holistic approach recognized as highly effective by a multiplicity of prominent healthcare professionals in the United States and abroad. With a comprehensive background in acupuncture and homeopathy, Dr. Vinson DiSanto also employs Ayurvedic principles in his work, carrying on a long tradition of nutritional-based applications shown to facilitate increased wellness of the body and mind. Prior to joining Spectrum Services, Dr. Vinson DiSanto served as Chief Medical Officer & Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a position he maintained from 1993 to 1997. Responsible for overseeing a large team of doctors, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and technicians, he played a key role in improving the organization’s patient management programs. After departing from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Dr. Vinson DiSanto functioned as a Family Practice Physician at the Vaughan Medical Center in Martinsville, Virginia for three years. He then spent an extended tenure traveling across the country to care for patients as an affiliate of Vista Staffing Solutions and Worldwide Medical. He settled down in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2006 where he operated a practice through Concentra Medical Centers. Dr. DiSanto remained actively engaged with Vista Staffing Solutions and Worldwide Medical until 2008, at which point he prioritized his leadership duties through Spectrum Services. Dr. Vinson DiSanto received his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986.
