Matheus Vinhal e Silva has professionally worked as cultural advisor, music consultant and music critic along the last years. Moreover, he has creative projects on various areas, such as photography, audiovisual, literature, music. As a member of SUBTRACO collective, he has also developed projects on urban intervention, sound art, moving images and more.

As a music compiler for the Swedish label X5 Music Group, Matheus has made more than 300 compilations, with various titles on Latin, Brazilian, African, Caribbean, India, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Eastern European music.

For two years, Matheus advised dozens of cultural productions and helped them bring their projects to CCBB Brasília, the second most visited cultural center/museum in Brazil.

Matheus has created and edited Fita Bruta, an internet publication covering music. Since 2012, he has written and edited more than one hundred texts about Brazilian and International music production.
