Oversaw the set-up of the first transformation contract with a local Russian plant and reduced costs by more than $ 1 Mio for 2009. Main clients: Danone (DN), Metro, Kimberly Clark (KC), Kraft, Nokian Tyres (NT), Continental (Conti), Alcatel-Lucent, Sidel, Karcher... Opened DN’s warehouse in Tchekov (7000 M2, 118 FTE, 3000 pallets, 50000 picked cases & 62 outbound / day) & got 2nd best result ever for a 3PL at the AIB audit. Managed NT’s plant warehouse in St. Pete (15000 M2, 116 FTE, 30000 tires / day). Brought KN Russia in line with corporate ISO 9001 standards.

Grew distribution to over 500 deliveries / Month & Increased T.O. by over 250% each year. Consolidated NT's Moscow deliveries & implemented CIS rail shipments. For the Russian leader of electronics retail, managed 20 warehouses in Russia, Finland and Germany, 50% of which were contracted to 3PLs, for supplying over 100 stores representing over USD 1 billion of sales.

Performed center of gravity analysis according to the market share, potential & expansion targets. Calculated needed storage & handling capacity for each type of goods & region, based on historical data, planning forecast & seasonality. Identified low rotation SKUs & created internal promotional actionsfor reducing working capital & storage costs. Established procedures for on-time treatment of damaged goods during the inbound, & reintegrated over 20% of them into sellable status. Created discounted rates for light damages.

Managed road, rail and containers imports from China, Europe and Turkey, using consolidation hubs in Finland & Germany as well as direct shipments. Implemented a procedure for insuring the follow-up and settlement of transportation claims.

Supplied additional airport stores not belonging to the Air-France Group in Senegal, Benin, Nigeria, Chad, Djibouti, Niger and Guinea Bissau (DDU shipments by Sea & Air within the UN regulation for excise, dangerous and perishable goods). Established assortment and pricing policy in light of local market characteristics and trained local staff.
