Students will be given secret identities and will try to infiltrate other groups through persuasion and cunning. The activity gives the students a sense of what it was like to live in a time of such heavy suspicion and fear of an enemy threat.
Click on the image above to view my lesson plan! This is an interactive lesson where students circulate between stations around the room that contain pictures, letters, and descriptions of the attack on Pearl Harbor. When finished with their stations, they are to teach each other the remaining information that they have gathered. They then write a letter home from the perspective of a Japanese or American soldier on the day of the attack.
Working collaboratively in a dynamic environment with other professionals where I can exercise my disciplined abilities to encourage children to reach their best possible potential.
I worked for Kristyne as an intern and was promoted to Assistant Manager of the PSECU E-Center on Millersville's campus.
I worked for Dr. Anttonen as his Student Worker for Academic & Student Development, and was also his advisee during my time at 91.7 WIXQ as a disc-jockey and Program Director.
Mr. Tim Glackin is my cooperating teacher this semester. We have been working together to create engaging lessons that utilize technology and revolve around our students' different learning capabilities.
Dr. Zorrilla was my cooperating teacher during my pre-service teaching at Cedar Crest. With her assistance I was able to create many creative, technology-based lessons for the students.
