A general practitioner and functional medicine specialist, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash has treated patients for almost 15 years. Presently, he works with individuals at Marsden Medical Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. He diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions similar to the care he previously provided at another practice in the countryâ��s biggest city. In addition, he acts as Clinical Director of Younger By Design where he supplies anti-aging treatments and preventive care. He offers therapies such as bio-identical hormones and dermal fillers. Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash prescribes these treatments to facilitate optimal health and longevity. The clinicâ��s patients have responded positively to the services, which allowed Dr. Jayaprakash to increase revenue by 10 percent within six months. Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash studied in Great Britain and China before moving to New Zealand. He attended Island School in Hong Kong to complete his secondary school requirements. He earned a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Southampton in Great Britain. Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash received training at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth where he learned about oncology, dermatology, and renal medicine. Subsequently, he spent a year at St. Richardâ��s Hospital in Chichester, receiving training on anesthesiology. He completed his training in anesthesiology at Worthing District Hospital. Before moving to New Zealand, he returned to Queen Alexandra Hospital as an Intensive Care Unit Fellow. To remain current in his field, Dr. Vikram Jayaprakash participates in a number of medical organizations. These include The American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, The AustralAsian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine, The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, and others. He supports the Freemasons and serves as the country Chairman for York Street Body Corporate Committee. He assists the Freemasons in running an annual summer event named Camp Quality for children with illnesses.
