  • As a RAN FO Engineer my key responsibilities are to monitor the sites which have infra alarms and site down.
  • When a fault or event occurs, a network component will often send a notification to the network operator. An alarm is a persistent indication of a fault that clears only when the triggering condition has been resolved. A current list of problems occurring on the network component is often kept in the form of an active alarm list.
  • Deeply analysis of infra alarns and site down alarms.

  • As a FM/RAN Engg., My key Responsibilities is to deeply analyze the site down and sector down cases of different technologies sites. i.e 2g, 3g, 4g, baseband single RAN(SRAN) sites.
  • Also, need to check and optimize the availability of the site.
  • On daily basis preparing the Sector analysis report in which new and old sector outages covered, after that rectifying sector outages and send it to customer.

Key Tasks Handled Across the Tenure:

  • Higher level troubleshooting & proper analysis of major network faults with RCA.
  • Troubleshooting of Nokia BSC and RNC system alarms ticketing and Power modification in 2G and 3G cells, DAC rectification
  • Working on NOKIA, NetAct, CM editor and configuration
  • Troubleshooting of site with the help of BTS site Manger and citrix Tang.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting & resolving the trouble tickets forwarded by 1st Level Surveillance Team.
  • Troubleshooting for on Ericsson RBS, NodeB, BSC, RNC on WINFIOL and MOShell.
  • Basic Troubleshooting of ZTE Nodes.
  • Working on Huawei Nodes U2000, 6900, 6910.
  • Looking major, medium & minor alarms of network and provide proper RCA.
  • Deeply analyse the infra alarms of huawei, ericsson and ZTE nodes.
  • Understanding of e-nodeb  architecture.
