The primary responsibility is related to the management of financial aspects of construction projects: cost management, reviews, negotiates and administers contract proposals and specifications for client contracts/subcontracts; identifies, evaluates, and advises on potential project problems/risks.
1:- Procurement of Engineering Capital goods Like (Blower, centrifuge, Boiler, D.G, Compressors , Fuming hoods ,Jet Mill, Heat exchangers ,Reactors, fork lift etc.)
2:- Procurement of Civil structures & machineries Like (Angle, Beam, Channel, lift, slings, lifting equipment, civil contracts etc.)
3:-Procurement of Mechanical items like (pipe, elbow, Gasket, flanges, fittings, valves etc.)
4:- Procurement of Electrical Materials like (Lt/Ht Panels, Light fittings, Lv/ Mv /Hv / Optical/Instrumentation Cables, Pumps, Motor Transformers, boards, switches, RTD, Thermometers, Transmitter etc.)
5:- On all standard provide redlined recommendations and often negotiate directly with customer attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached. As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
6:- Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
7:- Develop and implement procedures for Procurement & contract management, FIDIC format, E-Bidding, Tendering and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.
8:- Work with HSE Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.
9:- Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc. May include ‘financial engineering’ and understanding / evaluating economic impact of terms and term options.
- Prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and administers commercial and government contracts in accordance FIDIC with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manages contract administration staff and provides guidance on complex contracts.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
