My name is Victoria Carlson. I am a very outgoing, determined, goal oriented, driven, intelligent, and personable young lady. I am currently a freshman in college and have many dreams and goals. I am working on getting my A.A. from Jones County Junior College. I plan to transfer from there to the University of Southern Mississippi and graduate with my B.A. in Psychology. Following this I plan to work towards my M.A. and PhD. I am focused and excited about the work I can do in my field.

My career goal is to become a successful psychologist while also doing research and studies on the side. Getting an opportunity to internship for this type of position would be the main position I am seeking.

Responsibilities included but were not limited to:

  • showed guests to their seats
  • handled the register and money
  • took "to-go" orders on the phone and in the restaurant
  • handled organizing bakery items in the cases
  • took messages for the owners
  • organized the drawer at the end of my shift with all money and register papers printed and put together
  • interacted with customers and maintained composed demeanor in stressful situations

I worked at Remax as a receptionist my freshman year in high school. Responsibilities included but were not limited to:

  • answering muliti-line phones
  • making showing appointments
  • accepting and logging in rent payments
  • entering listings into the MLS system
  • interacting and assisting the agents and clients

  • Current GPA- 3.00 (after first semester of freshman year.)
  • Completed an Introduction to Keyboarding class that has given me the skills to type quickly and efficiently.
  • Completed an English Composition I class. I learned many skills through this class such as efficient writing skills and the ability to write about different topics.
  • Currently taking four classes including Human Growth & Development, Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Sociology, and English Composition II. These classes are teaching me many different essential tools. Things like organization, writing, analyzing, critical thinking, ect.
