Proposal Coordinator

Aimsun develops, markets and supports Aimsun Next and Aimsun Live, the traffic modelling software of choice for over 4,000 licensed users worldwide.

  • Coordinating with partners from Australia, Asia, USA, and EU for tenders all over the world.  Company contact point for all:
    • Invitations to Tender, Requests for Qualification, Requests for Proposal, Requests of Expressions of Interest, Official Journal of the European Union calls, etc. regarding any and all company proposals to provide:
      • a) software, maintenance and technical support
      • b) professional services or
      • to c) receive funding as part of a research and development consortium.

Communications & Events Manager

IMPACT (Internet Mobile Projects Accelerator): one of the 16 consortia selected by the European Commission as part of the Horizon 2020 (EU Research and Innovation programme with €80 billion of funding).

  • Digital Marketing Management (tools used: Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Twitter, LinkedIn, FB, Youtube, Google+, as well as aggregators such as HootSuite, TitanPad, Tweet binder):

    • Planned, set-up & executed mailing, social media and marketing strategy for:

      • +80 events (Campaigns within the three Open Calls attracted +2500 IMPACT applicants worldwide).

      • CSR and Community campaign #ShareToIMPACT (+807.000 impacts, +120 people actively participating, +1.200 clicks, 72 registered the form).

  • Copy-writing (Content) in English language (wrote & edited EU reports, EU Project Proposals, emails, interviews, newsletter campaigns, press publications, social media posts).

  • Internal communications within +60 startups and +70 mentors (coordinating, communicating, following up and supporting their task and duties for successful completion of Acceleration Program).

  • External Communication and Partnership Development (looked for and negotiated perks offered by AMAZON Web, HubSpot, SendGrid, Braintree etc.).

  • Event Strategy Planning and Execution for:

    • +80 events with up to 200 attendees supported by partners such as BBVA, Barcelona Activa, Sonar+D, 4YFN, MWC, A-Digital, B-startup, Google Campus, IMPACT Hub:

      • IMPACT Info Sessions for up to 100 attendees, IMPACT Jury Day for +200 finalists, IMPACT Training & Mentoring Programs for +60 attendees and + 20 top world professionals).

      • managing up to €+50K budget.
