Head SME

I was designated as the Head- SME at Trimax and was responsible for business across 60 Cities in India. I had a mandate of achieving revenues from Managed Network Services, Facilities Mgt Services, System Integration, Data Center Services & DC Build opportunities and Cloud Computing Solutions. I carried a Revenue Target of approximately USD 33 Mn.  Building and grooming a Pan-India Team comprising of ZMs, RSMs and BDM/BDEs. Recruited 15 Team members in five months on a pan-India basis to augment existing Team.  A “Focus” Funnel increased from INR 80 Million to INR 610 Million in five months.  The first quarter’s performance was more than doubled in the second three-month quarter.  Team achieved set short-term goals successfully and closed critical deals including a S.I/Network deal with a BFSI Account worth INR 16 Million, a Managed 150 location Network deal in a Government Account worth INR 10 Million.

Head Bandwidth Sales Glo1

I was designated as the Head Bandwidth Sales for the new under-sea OFC system to be set up by Globacom (branded as Glo1). I was deeply involved in the initial commissioning stage of this cable system in Nigeria and Ghana. I set up a Corporate Sales team, trained them and managed the Team to drive business. I closely coordinated with the Marketing and Technical teams, under the guidance of the Group M.D's Office and the Chairman's office for ensuring timely and smooth launch of Glo1. I closed the first large deal for this newly set up Division worth about 3.04 Million USD and also guided the Team in closing their first few Corporate deals too.

I was heading the sales operations across the Western Region (India) with a team of Sales Managers in Mumbai and Pune cities. The Organization was providing voice, video and data solutions (including Call Center Solutions) based on products and services from OEM partners such as Cisco (Global Gold Partner); Avaya Inc, Alcatel-Lucent; Aspect; Verint; Altitude; Tandberg; etc. Equant was acting as a System Integrator, responsible for deploying and managing the above solutions and also to take up AMCs for some of the above stated OEMs' hardware.
