Responsibilities included identifying and contacting and establishing a relationship with potential donors within the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex for financial involvement in the athletic program. Responsibilities on game days included of assessing the VIP Suite and visiting with guest who consisted of current and potential VIP donors.

Collaborated in the designing of an intervention that would address the growing incidences of obesity in low-income children and their family. Translated written material and from English to Spanish and served as translator during the workshops for participants. Taught parents developmentally appropriate activities to play with their children in a variety of environments. Measured physical activity in children and families with pedometers, accelerometers, and direct observation. The intervention directed toward appropriate physical activities.The data was analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods to identify the results of the intervention.
