Responsible for quality issues in hot-dip galvanize line, tandem mill, continuous annealing line, recoil line and three sheet warehouses. Work alongside production to ensure products meet downstream / customer suitability. Assesses production line capabilities to ensure proper order design to meet customer specifications. Monitors upstream input and recommends reclamation solutions. Conducts periodic audits on procedure, testing, packaging and shipping. Reviews and revises failure modes and effect analyses, corrective / preventive action request, flow chart, process change, control plan, operating procedure, quality system standard. Identifies, proposes and enacts improvement for production practices.

·Saved 393 tons of light gauge materials from claim by reclamation with roll-forming assistance

·Analyzed data, using statistical process control, to save 6% of zinc over-coating and 1.1% drop (~133 tons per month) in diversion of pinchers in galvanize line

·Applied problem-solving method and saved 4% of diversion of cold-mill board scratch

·Created a new pack code for pre-paint galvanized coils reducing yield loss by 3%.
