Worked as“ Executive production” in Urea plant, Fertilizers Ltd. Mangalore Plant exposure: Stamicarbon CO2 stripping process to manufacture urea licensed by STAMICARBON BV Netherlands. This plant has cap: 1260 MTPD urea prills

Job and Responsibility:

  • High Pressure Reciprocating compressor running operations to handle CO2 at around 150 kg/cm2
  • High pressure system of 140-145 kg/cm2 and low pressure system 4.5kg/cm2 and optimization of the process at respective condition.
  • Shutdown and start up activities of the plant. Pneumatic test, hydro test, ferrule DP test, chemical cleaning of heat exchangers, NDT.
  • DCS operation on CS3000 by Yokogawa, monitoring the process and equipments like pump, compressors associated with trip system.
  • Work permit system for ensuring safe operation. Fallowing SOP, OCP, HIRA and Aspect impact analysis.

¨      Involved in commissioning of 20000 MTPA COLAS emulsion plant.

¨      Involved in commissioning and erection of mill, pumps, soap tank, emulsifier unit, and emulsion storage tanks.

¨      Erection and commissioning of MB tanks and bitumen storage tanks.

¨      Involved in identifying the CAPEX requirement and making the proposals and execution of projects at plant and ensure all resources availability for execution of project at site and timely completion

¨      Ensure safe practises and adherence of IMS system requirement during execution of project and Periodical review of project progress in line with technical requirement, timeframe. Review of project completion  report with consultant and contractors

¨      Maintain the controls on site to ensure statutory compliance, HSE requirements and safe work culture. Achieving production targets and upkeep of all equipments by periodical maintenance.

¨      Forecasting the annual material requirement based on the sales forecast and ensuring nil downtime due to run out of stocks.

¨      Ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are carried out regularly.

¨      Maintain the downtime records and history cards for all equipment maintenance.

¨      Finalisation of transportation, security, labour and annual maintenance contracts. Vendor development, vendor registration and evaluation.

¨      Preparation of RFDs finalization of disposal order through limited tenders for scrap disposals.

¨      Ensuring safety and statutory compliance and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, IMS systems and SOPs.
