FEA Support to GOODYEAR TIRES (ENGINEERING MECHANICS):

At India : Design optimization for Tire (Passenger cars and Radial Medium Truck) - North America, Europe and Middle east Asia.

Analysis: structural and thermal - Dynamic / static, tire wear, handling. Studies using different polyester plies and rubbers components, footprint behavior using different Steel belt orientations, strains & heat generation between belts, plies and rubber.

At Luxembourg : on-site coordinator for the team, responsible for trouble shooting / Debugging of the FEA models, technical reports, communication between Goodyear engineers and my team, process documentation, planning, scheduling, preparing work requests, quality and work allocation.

Engineering Design Support to GOODYEAR TIRES (Mold template) :

To create mold template designs (2D and 3D) for the optimized tire designs with Catia v4, V5.

Project Name: Study of oedometric and uni-axial compression of dry and impregnated roving

Aimed at studying experimentally(Uni-axial) and numerically model(abaqus) the oedometric compression behaviour of roving (dry & prepregs), designing an in-plane compression measurement bench and model thermomechanical compression of fibrous material (COMSOL).
