Currently part of the IT IS Mobility Centre of Excellence - Emerging services team specializing in various Enterprise Mobility Management tools like MobileIron, Fiberlink’s MaaS360, Boxtone, Airwatch, Good for Enterprise, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, SCCM 2012, Windows Intune with exposure to platforms which include Apple iOS, Android, BlackBerry & Microsoft Windows for mobile handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Distribution & Deployment using Microsoft SCCM 2007
Did a project for Cognizant’s internal Client NSS supporting for its infrastructure. The process includes repackaging the legacy application using Wise Package 7.0 and the MSI packages are deployed/pushed through Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007.
Application Virtualization using Microsoft App-V
Involved in project for making the business applications of John-Hancock organization to sequenced packages with the clients packaging standards. Microsoft App-V was used to sequence the applications. The applications were first being reviewed on the various client builds provided. In all the builds, these applications need to function as per the client requirements before and after sequencing. Later on the applications were reviewed for Quality process as per the client standards and functionality testing is also performed.

Enteo Net Installer was used for executing the application for captures or sequencing. The applications were first being reviewed on the various client builds provided. Later on the applications were reviewed for Quality process as per the client standards and functionality testing is also performed.
Application Repackaging using Wise Package Studio
Involved in a project from Cognizant’s Internal Client NSS as well customer/clients like Merck & EnBW supporting for its infrastructure, It’s a process of repackaging the legacy application to be compliance with the client’s standards, it is done offshore. The process includes repackaging the legacy application using Wise Package 7.0 and the MSI packages are deployed/pushed through Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007.

Project Description:

Enterprise mobile device management (MDM) is a policy and configuration management tool for mobile handheld devices, such as smartphones and tablets based on smartphone OS’s.

It helps enterprises manage the transition to a more complex mobile computing and communications environment by supporting security, network services, and software and hardware management across multiple OS platforms.

This is especially important as bring your own device (BYOD) initiatives become the focus of many enterprises. It can support corporate-owned as well as personal devices, and helps support a more complex and heterogeneous environment.

The primary delivery model is on-premises, but it can also be offered as software as a service (SaaS) or through the cloud.

Role and Responsibilities:

[1] Location Based Restaurant Finder Application for Google Android Phones

Team Size: 04

Role: Java Programmer, Handling Maps API, Project Troubleshooting & Documentation.

Environment:  JDK 1.5 (J2SE), Android SDK version 1.0 build r2, Eclipse Ganymede IDE version 3.4, ADT                                  Plug-in version 0.8.0 for Eclipse.

The prime objective of this project is to create an Android application which could locate a list of restaurants based on the location & type of cuisine entered by the user.

  • The user can map the location of the restaurant using Google Maps & could trace the direction from his current location to the restaurant.
  • The user can make calls directly to the restaurant & also obtain the detailed review of the restaurant he chooses.
  • The project is developed in Java by using the Eclipse Ganymede IDE.
  • The project uses the Android SDK which includes variety of custom tools. The most important of these are the Android Emulator & the ADT plug-in for Eclipse.

The main objective of this project is to utilize the knowledge of B-Trees & implement them with the C++ concepts.

  • In this project a class called STUDENT is designed. Each object of this class represents information about a single student.
  • Members should be included for STUDENT (like USN, NAME, ADDRESS, SEMESTER, BRANCH etc.).
  • Methods are included for assignment, initialization & modifying values.
  • Methods are provided to read member values to the output stream, and also to store objects as records in the file and load objects from file using buffering.
