Summary

I possess eight years of project management experience in, IT Infrastructure/ Software Implementation,  Microsoft Enterprise Solution, Data Center Establishment and Migration, Oracle E-Business Suite, Command Operations Center, NOC/SOC and System Integration. My career acheivements include successfully completing 16 medium to large scale complex projects and programs, nationally and internationally.

Acquired product and services knowledge & experience in multiple domains in order to fulfill the cross functional integration requrement for solution delivery. Products involved IBM, Microsoft, Oracle EBS R12, Hospital Management Application, EMC, APC, Juniper, Cisco, Policom, EVAN, Grand stream, Redline, TOA, HP, Dell etc.

Completed projects in OGDCL, Islambad Police, Maritime Technology Complex MTC, PTCL (Etisalat), Ufone, PITB, Partex Star Group (Bangladesh) and Hospital Management System Application at one the largest chain of hospitals of Pak Army.

For project monitoring and reporting, worked on Microsoft Project Professional and Microsoft Dynamics AX Project Management Module.

During the tenure 2009 to 2013 at IBT (Inbox Business Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) provided considerable input in successful project delivery and resulted in IBT being recognized by Microsoft Inc., as partner of the year 2011 and Oracle Applications Partner of the year 2013.

Completed one year executive master’s degree program for Project Professionals (2009). Also enrolled in  Advance Project Management Program at Stanford University.

Achievements:

In year 2015-16 company’s focus was to add value in the health sector as per company strategy HOPE. Challenge was to establish a pilot site at one of the DHQ Hospital in Punjab region. 

Project was about to integrate the “Intellcare” product with Hospital work flows while providing it’s services to end user. Also the Patient’s records, employee data, reports etc. are made accessible for better manageability. 

  • The major challenge was to complete the site with limited resources. 
  • The site was completed with key planning parameters and customer satisfaction.
  • Almost three years of services at IAC, I have been promoted twice from AM to DM and then to PM.
  • Successful in gaining the credibility of senior management to perform at best and achievement of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Project life cycle management in compliance with PMO processes and procedures. Also in advisory role for defining management standards, policies and procedures aligned with organizational strategic goals and industry best practices.
  • Adherence to project objectives that are, timely completion of project, within budget and in defined quality parameters.
  • Analysis and evaluation of Work Performance Data and Work Performance Information and to present the project reports. Exercise integrated change control mechanism that is to implement every project change through change request.
  • Proactive identification and assessment of potential risk and to develop mitigation techniques and contingency plans with due engagement of stakeholders.
  • Stakeholders Management and maintaining communication/liaising by understanding their needs, expectation and engagement as when required in project phases.
  • Adherence to the company policies and procedures to maintain the quality standards by quality assurances and quality control. Assess and develop plan for the hardware procurement (infrastructure projects) and to engage the procurement team to align as per the project timeline.
  • Imparting project management training to PMO staff as well as resources from other departments for introducing project management culture into the organization.
  • Provide administration and user support for PMO’s Portfolio, Project, and Resource Management tool.

Achievements:

Significant achievement in this tenure was the assignment of large scale "Oracle E Business Suite" project in Dhaka Bangladesh at "Partex Star Group" year 2012.

  • Challenge was to implement the application implementation project with no previous background.
  • Another challenge was the implementation at large scale whereby multiple manufacturing concerns to be integrated with Oracle Financial, supply chain, manufacturing modules.
  • Stakeholder management was the biggest challenge; firstly to win their trust as it was IBT's first project in Bangladesh and then to maintain and keep them updated with the progress.
  • Despite number of challenges, project executed in a very balances proportion and set targets has been achieved. 
  • Completed Oracle EBS Implementation in 12 entities of large complex till the Build phase within one year timeline in Bangladesh.
  • IBT achieved Oracle Partner of the year award in 2013.
  • IBT successfully secured future projects in Bangladesh region.

Achievements:

One of the significant achievement during this tenure was the successful completion of project “Core IT Infrastructure Project” in PTCL year 2010.

  • The biggest challenge was to complete the nine (9) sites of project in parallel with limited resources. This was done in an efficient manner although this was entirely a new scenario appeared in front me.
  • Plan procurement, supply chain and manage delivery of equipment in a timely fashion were also a great challenge. The procurement cycle was planned in such a manner that passive work to complete before shipment arrival for moving the equipment directly at site, thus reducing the warehouse storage cost. 
  • Similarly, planned and engaged technical teams for the deployments i.e. network connectivity, system, storage and Microsoft Enterprise suite installation and commissioning. 
  • Project completed within one year time frame. Along with the deployment and execution work, internal/ external stakeholders were kept informed through status reporting and involved for the issue resolutions. 
  • IBT was awarded with Microsoft partner of the year 2011.
  • Successfully completed the data center migration project at PTCL (Etisalat).

Another significant achievement was the successful completion of project “Email and Identity Management Project” in PITB year 2011.

  • Successfully completed Email and Identity Management Solution at PITB in 8 months timeline. Project involves IBM Servers and storage platform for Microsoft Enterprise Solution of MS AD, Exchange, SQL and SCOM.
  • Challenge was to plan and execute the completion of passive work before the arrival of hardware shipments from multiple OEMs. Likewise deployments teams to engaged for the deployment. 
  • Completed the 10 months project before time in 8 months.
