It was a great experience at Leeds. It was first time I was introduced to multi cultural and multi linguistic environment where learning became more practical and fun as we shared our experiences and knowledge.

The course was very well designed and equipped with different modules and practical classes.  There were internationally acknowledged professors to deliver their expert knowledge and to make us competitive enough to lead.  The course was divided into 3 semesters. In the first semester we were introduced to the term ‘MARKETING’ and other general topics related to marketing to make our base strong. Second semester was designed to provide advance knowledge about marketing. This included use of technology and information to maximise sale, retain customers and decrease cost of marketing. Introduction of two live projects in the course, Kitchen Collections and T-mobile, made it more practical and gave us the opportunity to use the knowledge gained to optimum level. These live projects were done in group. People from different countries had different approach to a problem which brought clashes in ideas. Since the ideas were based on intense research work done by every individual in the group, it was quite easy to mix them and make something more challenging. Semester 3 was the final step towards the degree. Dissertation, it was not easy as it sound. I chose live project and not dissertation. It was just because of one reason that I wanted to experience what I have learnt and to apply my knowledge in the practical world.
