TRAINING MANAGER

Currently responsible for the overall handling of  the training department for Sheraton Mall of the Emirates .

Training

  1. Setting up training department in the hotel from the scratch.
  2. Develops and implements training and development programs to meet identified needs and ensure guest service quality
  3. Created and overlooks the “Department Trainer System” - which is a total of 16 departmental trainers who are responsible to the skill based training for each department.
  4. Ensuring the effective implementation and administration of company-wide Learning & Development policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated Company objectives and UAE legislation requirements.
  5. Providing Coaching support to Senior Management and HOD's to improve retention and encourage internal promotion and ensuring the internal Learning & Development audits are undertaken in all areas of the business where Departmental Trainers are utilized.
  6. Observes on-the-job functions, reviews departments' standards of performance and undertakes the necessary interventions.
  7. Reviews training policies, procedures and practices and recommends improvements to management. 
  8. Ensures that adequate budgetary allocation is made.
